Product FAQ
Will these fit my bike?
They are throw-over bags with a universal connecting strap, so they fit most cruisers, commuters and standards with a pillion seat. They are not designed for sport bikes with a high, short tail section, and they need clearance above the exhaust and away from the rear wheel. Check both before you ride.
Are the bags themselves waterproof?
The bags are water-resistant, not sealed. That is why two waterproof covers are included — fit them when rain is forecast and treat the bags as dry-weather storage otherwise.
Do I need a rack?
No. The connecting strap runs over the seat and carries the load. Many riders add a bracket to stop the bags swinging into the wheel on rough roads, and the stiffener panels help with this too.
Which material should I pick?
Oxford cloth if the bike lives outside and gets used hard. PU if you want the smoother look. Take the plastic stiffeners either way — they are what keeps the bags off the wheel.
